As an AWS Leader Nordics you will have the exciting opportunity to lead a team of high skilled account managers and help to promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. This is a senior management position. Your responsibilities will include increase AWS adoption and market penetration in the Nordics market. You will be expected to build and develop high performance teams.
The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background that enables them to engage at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. He/she should also have experience managing teams and be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory plan.
Roles & Responsibilities;
Manage a team of account managers.
Increase market share in a defined territory.
Develop and execute against a comprehensive territory plan.
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
Facilitate customer adoption.
Work with partners to extend reach and promote adoption.
Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Build, Develop and motivate a high performing team
Desired Skills and Experience
Strong experience of direct team management responsibilities in the IT industry environment.
BA/BS degree required.
A technical background in engineering, computer science/MIS or equivalent work experience required.
Direct field experience in working with top enterprise accounts across your assigned territory.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Fluent English and Swedish. Other Scandinavian languages will be an asset.
Preferred;
Sales experience with virtualization/infrastructure solutions a bonus.
Significant direct manager experience.
Masters or MBA a plus.
